What should I pack in my dog’s backpack?

  • If it is necessary for your dog to eat during the day, pack whatever food or treats that you would like us to feed your dog throughout the day.  Please pre-measure the amount that you would like to have them fed and seal it in a waterproof zip-lock bag or container.  Write your dog’s name on the bag or container.
  • Pack any medications/supplements that your dog is taking with specific instructions on how, when and how much to administer.  Please pre-measure any dosages and pack them in a waterproof container with your dog’s name written on it.  Treatment for fleas and ticks should be done no less than 48 hours prior to physical contact with other pets.
  • Please send your dog with a leash.
  • If there are any other items that you feel your dog needs to have in order to be comfortable for the day, please let us know.  (Do not send them with their favorite toy.  This could lead to resource aggression.)

What will my dog’s day look like?

  • 7:00am-9:00am Drop off and indoor free play

  • 12:30pm-1:30pm-Nap time.  Dogs will be given the opportunity to rest in a warm, dry room.  Relaxing music created specifically for dogs will be played in the background.  Not all dogs will choose to nap during this time, but the environment will be created for it and there will not be any high energy activities scheduled during this time.
